Business SA has stepped up its support for South Australian businesses adding a new business brokerage arm to its expanding list of services.
The peak independent business body has announced the new brokerage program will be delivered with South Australia’s largest business brokers, Ray White Business Sales.
Business SA CEO, Martin Haese said the new program means Business SA can stand side by side with South Australian business owners from start-up right through to succession.
“We are delighted to offer this vitally important service for our members and clients and equally pleased to be partnering with Ray White Business Sales, who we consider to be the industry leaders in business broking,” said Mr Haese.
“A family owned business for 118 years, Ray White is a trusted, reputable brand with similar values to Business SA. We are thrilled to partner with Ray White Business Sales SA/NT and welcome Principal, Brett Buckley, to the Business SA team, who was recently awarded the SA Business Broker of the Year 2020.
“Business SA looks forward to working with Ray White Business Sales to ensure our members are best positioned to reap the rewards for their hard work.
“Better businesses lead to bigger businesses. And bigger businesses mean more jobs, something our economy so desperately needs right now with thousands of positions lost to COVID-19.”
Forming part of a suite of new services provided by Business SA, Mr Haese said that members will have access to mentors, training and timely advice throughout their business journey with the new business brokerage service being the last piece of the puzzle.
“As the largest real estate business in Australia and South Australia’s largest business brokers, Ray White’s experts have skin in the game and real business experience themselves and are a great asset to the Business SA family,” said Mr Haese.
Brett Buckley, Principal of Ray White Business Sales SA/NT, says it’s never too early to plan for a successful exit strategy.
“Ray White is thrilled to partner with Business SA, South Australia’s peak, independent business body representing thousands of businesses across 17 different industries by supplying their members with access to our expert business brokerage consulting services,” said Mr Buckley.
“It pays to plan ahead. Businesses should be thinking about their succession plan from the moment they open their doors.
“Ray White’s brokers are businesspeople themselves and understand business transactions. We look forward to working closely with Business SA by providing extra value to their members in the form of business planning, appraisals and exit strategy.”
