WHS for Managers - Online

About the Course

Course Outline

Managers and supervisors within any organisation have a responsibility to understand and implement Work Health and Safety legislation and requirements. This ensures staff are working within a safe work environment.

Managers and supervisors are role models for staff. By demonstrating safety standards and carrying out duties with a complete understanding of legal requirements, managers and supervisors help create a safety culture in their workplace.

Business SA has designed this course to ensure middle managers, supervisors and team leaders are aware of their responsibilities for maintaining workplace safety systems.

As part of the course, legal requirements under Work Health and Safety legislation are defined, along with the roles and responsibilities of an employer.
