Course Outline

Managers and supervisors within any organisation have a responsibility to understand and implement Workplace Health and Safety legislation and requirements for maintaining workplace safety systems.

By demonstrating safety standards and carrying out duties with a complete understanding of legal requirements, managers help create a safety culture in their workplace.

As part of the course, legal requirements under Workplace Health and Safety legislation are defined, along with the roles and responsibilities of an employer.

This course explores basic hazard management, safety systems, recognising and fixing deficiencies and ensuring reporting is comprehensive and managed effectively.
